About the Owner of Pampered Pet
My name is Emily Michalak, LVT, and I’m the owner of Pampered Pet. I was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Belle Hall area. Since I was little, my dream has been to own my own pet service business. Now, I am a single mother to my amazing daughter and my 12 year old black lab. I have been working in the veterinary field for about 9 years now. I live for the work I do and love the animals I care for.
Up until COVID-19, I worked at the dermatology clinic in Mt. Pleasant before that at a general practice off hwy. 17 then 3 years in Greenville, SC at an Animal Hospital. With how 2020 ended up, it was no longer an option for me to work full time at a clinic and also be there for my daughter during these uncertain times. At that point, I knew this was my time to turn my dream into reality, with much consideration in mind. I aim to provide reliable and convenient services to my clients and provide a stress-free and loving approach for your pets. Currently, I am working on nutritional and rehabilitation certifications to offer my clients more options.
